Samir
He was born in 1973 in the Galilean city of Nazareth in a family with a strong musical tradition. His mother sang in a Muashahat ensemble and his father, Hatem, is an oud maker known throughout the Arab world.
When he was five, his father started teaching him the oud, and he went on to enter the Nazareth Institute of Music at the age of 9. He completed his studies at the Muhammad Abdul Wahhab Conservatory in Cairo.

Samir Joubran participated to numerous workshops and musical meetings in many Arabic and European countries. He also gave oud courses in different schools and institutes.
He performed in many festivals alone or with his brothers. His music enjoyed audience in lots of the most prestigious places: the Cairo Opera House, the Jerusalem Festival,  the Jarash International Festival in Jordan, the Muscat Festival in Oman, Palestinian Week in Qatar and many more places in France, Italy, United States....
Samir is the first musician to have received a two-year grant from the International Parliament of Writers (2003 - 2004) in Pontedera, Italy.

Wissam
Born in Nazareth in 1983, Wissam have been taught oud when he was a child by his brother Samir.

He has a remarkable gift for improvisation and intelligent and harmonious transitions between the Arab Maqamats.
Besides being a musician, he is also a master luthier. He inherited this knowledge from his father who is a renowned oud maker.
He entered the very famous Antonio Stradivari violin-making school in Cremona and he became the first Arabic student graduated from this institute in 2005.

Adnan
Born in November 1985, he is the third (and last) brother of the family.

He made his debut on the international stage in summer 2004 and is considered a prodigy by his elder brothers.
With a father working as luthier and 2 brothers playing oud, it was difficult for him not to integrate the familial destiny.
